Pretty Peptalks turns one!

In 2021, I started tinkering with letterpress and helping friends put beautifully simple stationery in the mail. One year later, the mission for Pretty Peptalks remains the same.

Create beautifully simple stationery perfect for all life’s pep talks.

Thank you for supporting my small business and watching it grow. I started this journey passionate about paper and craving connection. Here we are, 365 days later and I’m filled with gratitude. On our first birthday, I thought it only appropriate to say thank you for setting my dreams in motion.

I also wanted to invite you to take a walk down memory lane with me.

November 2020

Our first weekend fully engaged in all things letterpress. An idea takes shape. Wheels get set into motion.

January 2021

With a lot of liquid courage, we hit publish on our website. Pretty Peptalks is born.

February 2021

We continue our letterpress learning with help from the experts at Swell Press.

April 2021

One girl. Lots of pre-orders. A lot of letterpress love mailed out and on its way.

May 2021

Having exhausted our initial capital and stretching the availability of our printing partners, we launch a Kickstarter and watch it skyrocket to success.

June 2021

Our first platen press, Pearl, comes home to Dallas.

August 2021

Our first custom stationery order is commissioned and completed.

October 2021

Pretty Pep Talks: The book is published. You like it. You really, really like it.

November 2021

We further our letterpress learning with help from the experts at Belle & Union. We host (and survive) our first Gray Friday VIP event, as well as Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Our first two custom holiday card orders are commissioned, printed, and shipped.
