You're invited: A stationery soiree

My passion is paper, the pen, and the page. Which means as a self-proclaimed stationery snob, I can barely contain my excitement about the exciting new week that is upon us.

It’s National Stationery Week!

No, this week is not a celebration of not moving—although that sounds lovely. National Stationery Week is all about cheerleading the act of writing by hand and encouraging people to share details of their favorite note cards, pens, pencils, paper products, and whatever else fills their offices (and hearts).

Sure, I can admit it’s certainly a different kind of get-together. But it’s one that I wholeheartedly embrace. Like a stationery soiree of sorts. Care to RSVP to the party, friend?

In a world where people are typing on a phone instead of writing by hand, maybe it’s time to get back to the good old days. After all, doesn’t it feel nice to write someone a letter from the heart? Doesn’t it feel nice to receive a letter in the mail unexpectedly?

I say we all get our cute note cards, favorite pens, and first-class postage ready and go wild for a week. What do you say?

P.S. Pre-sale is still live! I’d be a horrible business owner if I didn’t mention it. It is National Stationery Week.
